Emily-Rose Wagner is a documentary filmmaker
from and living in Los Angeles, California. She is a film, video
and media studies graduate of Hampshire College and her creativity
has contributed to projects on the History Channel, PBS, Slate.com,
and Free Speech TV. Emily-Rose recently filmed and produced HOME,
a 30-minute documentary about the importance of the Los Angeles
Public Library to the homeless community in Downtown Los Angeles.
HOME won the award for "Best Downtown Short" at the
Downtown Film Festival of Los Angeles and is also currently being
featured on Free Speech TV. A characteristic of Emily-Rose’s
videowork is her experimentation with exploiting colors and fluidity
of movement in helping to tell a story. Emily-Rose has developed
her experience by working on-set behind a camera and in an editing
space behind a computer.
In her personal life, Emily-Rose finds pleasure in the ocean,
exploring, and sailing.
